Thom Yorke Releases ‘Dialing In’ as Theme to Apple TV+ Series ‘Smoke’
Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has unveiled a new song, with “Dialing In” serving as the theme to Apple TV+’s forthcoming series Smoke.
Released on Wednesday (May 28), and recorded with Sam Petts-Davies, the haunting track presents a dark and brooding atmosphere as Yorke’s trademark vocals warmly accompany a tender and eclectic musical bed.
The song also soundtracks the recently-released trailer for Smoke, which – according to a descriptor – follows Taron Egerton and Jurnee Smollett as they “attempt to get as close to the truth as possible—without getting burned.”

Kneecap Removed From Scottish Festival Following Safety Concerns From Police
Northern Irish hip-hop trio Kneecap will no longer be appearing at Scotland’s TRNSMT festival this July following safety concerns from law enforcement.
The Belfast outfit had been scheduled to appear at the Glasgow festival this July, appearing on a lineup that also features 50 Cent, Gracie Abrams, Fontaines D.C., and more. However, local law enforcement had expressed concerns about the band’s appearance only last week, claiming that “there was no prior consultation with Police Scotland before acts were booked.”

Drake becomes the artist with the most RIAA Diamond certifications.
In a landmark feat, Drake has become the artist with the most RIAA-certified Diamond records.
He achieved this historic feat after his songs ‘Hold On, We’re Going Home’ and ‘Best I Ever Had’ surpassed 10 million sales in the United States.
Other Drake songs to have receieved RIAA diamond certifications include: ‘God’s Plan’, ‘One Dance’ with Wizkid and Skyla, ‘Hotline Bling’, ‘SICKO MODE’ with Travis Scott, ‘Life Is Good’ with Future, ‘Work,’ ‘Love Me’ with Drake, and ‘No Guidance’ with Chris Brown.

Davido shares how his father paid $200K to get him out of a contract
In a new interview with BET, Nigerian megastar Davido shared how his father, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, had to refund $200K to get him out of a contract.
According to Davido, at the early stage of his career, after scoring the hit single ‘Dami Duro’ as a 17-year-old, he was offered a record deal worth 200,000 USD.
“My Dad found out someone gave me $200K for a contract, he called them, gave them back their money and cancelled the contract,” Davido said, narrating the early days of his career where he found success as a teenager and how this made pursuing a university education tough.
“He didn’t want me to owe anybody but I was feeling like you’re a whole billionaire and you don’t want to give me money, so I had to go find my way,” Davido recounted what led to the contract.
“Thank God he did (cancel the contract) because I would have just been getting off the contract like two years ago,” he said, referring to his Dad refunding the investors.
